God speaks: “Everyone has two fathers. The Father of souls, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, says: Constantly remember Me alone.“

Most of us are fortunate that we were raised by fathers that were caring and kind. They guided us, did their best to ensure we had everything we needed. But no matter how good our father was/is, with human-beings, there is always a good, better and best. They make mistakes, they let us down, are unable to be there for us all the time. Some fathers, although they meant well, they didn’t know how to be affectionate or loving; it had never been modeled to them by their fathers and so they couldn’t give what they didn’t have. So they never told us that they loved us or were proud of us. They corrected us but didn’t express their love- tough love, as it is called in the world.

Truth be told, most fathers don’t set out to make life hard for their children, they don’t consciously set out to mess up their kids but unfortunately, their choices and decisions do affect their children immensely – not just for a few days or a few years but often, those decisions shape our very lives. I can’t help how I have been impacted by the people that raised me. But here’s the good news!! My eternal Father has taken all that into account. He is called the Creator. Only He knows the beginning, middle and end of my story. He knows who have been my parents in every birth and how they’ve shaped my journey. He knows what I did or didn’t get, He knows what wasn’t fair. His plan takes all that into account and is designed to get me to my destiny. He is called Heavenly God, the Father. He comes bearing the gift of heaven on the palm of His hand, just for me. He comes to liberate me from all sorrow and make me a sovereign again.

“It is most essential to explain the secrets of the two fathers”, says Baba. “One is the unlimited Father and the other is a limited father. By following the directions of the most elevated One of all, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, you can become the masters of heaven.”

I might have been raised around dysfunction, addictions, abuse, poverty but that does not have to stop me from reaching my destiny. All of that is where I have been as part of my journey but that’s not who I am. Who I am is the child of the Highest-on-High, the Creator, the Almighty Powerful. Physical fathers change- I have a different one in every birth but my the Father of I, the soul, never changes. I am His child throughout the cycle, that relationship is constant, imperishable. Sure, my physical fathers may have fallen short, may have disappointed me- they are human after all, but my true Father will never let me down. He is the unlimited Father who is the Father of all fathers, the Husband of all husbands and the Guru of all gurus. Maybe my physical father never approved of me but the eternal Father is proud of me, He approves of me. He is the Ocean of Love and He loves me more than life itself. He is over the moon to be reunited with His long lost and now found child from whom He had been separated for 5000 years.

He is incorporeal and Ever-pure but He comes into this most impure world, takes the support of an old, impure body and says through the organs of the one whose body He enters: “Through the body of Brahma, I grant My inheritance to you mouth-born children of Brahma.” In the world, only males receive an inheritance but here both males and females receive an equal inheritance because He is the Father of souls, not bodies. “When you consider yourself a soul and remember only Me and follow only My directions for your life, you claim the inheritance of purity, peace and unlimited happiness and becomes masters of the world“, He says. People may have tried to push me down, made me feel less than but Heavenly God, the Father says: “You are My long lost child, you are my most beloved child.” Let me not stay focused on what my physical father did or didn’t give me, let me not live bitter because someone wasn’t there for me when I needed them. Let me learn to go to the true Father, the One who never forgot and will never abandon me. His plan for my life is to get me to my highest destination- to change from an ordinary, impure human into the most elevated, pure deity. Let me learn to rely only on Him, make only Him my one Strength and one Support.

“In the iron age, there is sorrow and worry in every home; there is darkness in every home.“, Baba observes. He sees when when I get put into unfair situations, when I have been at a disadvantage. He knows of all the setbacks and disappointments. If I will recognize and accept Him into my life as my true Father and make myself belong to Him as His child, then as a child, I will follow His directions for my life. When I follow His directions, He becomes responsible for me and helps me get to my destiny. God does not impose His will on me and so recognition and acceptance is key. He is waiting, longing to be part of my life- every tiniest aspect of it. “The lights of souls have been extinguished. The Father has come to ignite everyone’s light with His own light through which there will be Diwali in every home.“, He says.

It is the one Father who awakens souls. In the golden and silver ages, I was very happy and I used to celebrate in happiness. Everyone’s light remained ignited and it then decreased little by little. At this time it is completely dim; there is alloy mixed into it. The Father comes and pours in the oil of knowledge through which I become an ignited light again. “Your eyes of knowledge are now being opened.”, He explains. I learn that I am not the body but a pure soul, a child of God. This one thought changes me from a shell into a diamond. When I realize I am not the body, then my heart is no longer attached to bodily relationships, those are temporary and change from birth to birth. My Father is not the physical father, it is the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul. While worldly gurus become gurus to human-beings, the Father becomes the Guru to souls. Through the knowledge and remembrance, I, the soul, stand on my own two feet again. I break away from all bondages and attain liberation-in-life, that is, I become a self-sovereign.

“Truly, this is Raj Yoga and also the Gita Pathshala where you attain the kingdom.“, says Baba. God speaks: “Everyone has two fathers.” It doesn’t matter what my physical father did or didn’t do for me, my true, eternal Father is here now. The Father of souls, the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, says: “Now, constantly remember Me alone.”
