Baba says, “We are now studying Raja Yoga. This is the yoga to become the kings of kings.“

When I know about happiness, I then understand that indeed, this is the land of sorrow. There is a lot of difference between the two. I am now making effort for happiness, that is, I am following shrimat. My Father has come to take me home and then I will come into the new world of happiness. Just by virtue of recognizing the Father and being His child, I qualify to come into the new world but how much happiness I experience and for how long depends on the quality of the effort I make now. Many people in the world agree that there is a lot of sorrow but they don’t know how to attain happiness. Many chase after limited possessions or accomplishments to try to attain happiness. Others take the other extreme and leave the world altogether. They blame the world for their sorrow and so they leave their families and homes and isolate themselves. Neither path works.

God comes at this most auspicious confluence age and teaches me the right path to happiness; the only path to happiness. He teaches me Raja Yoga. He teaches me how to live in the midst of the world, at home, with my family and be happy. He frees me from the chase of limited things and makes me into a self-sovereign. Those who don’t fulfill their responsibilities are called hatha yogis whereas God is now teaching me Raja Yoga. Those who renounce their homes have to have renunciation for birth after birth- this becomes their sanskar. I, on the other hand, live at home with my family, have renunciation once and then receive the reward for that for 21 births. Their renunciation is limited, it’s only physical; mine is unlimited, the soul renounces the wrong consciousness. In addition to the world and all the people, they think the body is the enemy and so they do all kinds of unnatural acts, that is, they perform hatha yoga (yoga by force), to subdue the body. In my case, the moment I shift out of the wrong consciousness into soul consciousness, I automatically begin to rule over my physical and subtle organs. I become a king of my whole inner world.

This is why Raja Yoga is praised a great deal. God Himself teaches me this cycle after cycle. He alone is the unlimited Father and therefore, He alone can teach me unlimited renunciation, He alone can give me the unlimited sovereignty. The household path is not disliked here. The Father says: “In this final birth, become pure while living at home with your families. Live as pure as a lotus and definitely fulfill your responsibilities.” When I do this, I change from human to deity. Limited renunciates, since they don’t belong to the family path, they don’t believe in the deities either. They can therefore never teach Raja Yoga just as the Father can never teach hatha yoga.

Only those who are Raja Yogis now become world sovereigns in the future. Because unless I learn to be a king of my inner kingdom, I cannot become the king of the world. I imbibe the power and sanskars at this time to rule a kingdom. The inculcation of the ruling for the future 21 births takes place in a practical way at this time. I learn for example to be able to stop my thoughts the moment I issue an order for them to stop. I learn to stabilize my intellect wherever I want it to – in pure thoughts or in the avyakt stage or in the seed stage- for however long I want. I learn now to become such a king. Just as a king is able to get any task done through his co-operative workers, similarly, I learn to get my tasks done through my co-operative workers- the spiritual powers or the powers of I, the soul. I check to see that when I order the power to tolerate to come to you, does it come or move away? Does the power to oppose come instead? To be a Raja Yogi, an easy yogi (not a hatha yogi) means that all the powers co-operate with me easily and naturally. And the foundation for this is to move into the right awareness or consciousness of being a pure soul.

And so this was Father Brahma’s foremost practice; He made the lesson of the soul so firm from the beginning. On the walls, he wrote “I am a soul, every member of my family is a soul.” He made this lesson firm by writing on the walls the name of each member of the family. He filled so many diaries: I am a soul, this one is a soul, this one is also a soul. “Check“, says Baba, “Have you made the lesson of the soul so firm?” Incarnate into the body every day and think: I am an incarnation. I am an incarnated soul that is here to serve. What type of soul am I? Every day, He teaches, keep a new title in your awareness. Every day, keep in your awareness: I am an elevated soul. When the soul is stable in the point form, then the point of the drama will also be useful and you will be able to apply a full-stop to all problems in a second. You will easily become a point and return home as a point.

I cannot go to heaven, that is, to the new world, without first going back home. In other words, I cannot go to the new world without first returning to my truth or to my original form. Originally, the soul is king of its inner world. I come to make you this, once again, says Baba. In hatha yoga or in bhakti, they chant mantras. Here, you simply have to remain in silence and remember, He teaches. Consider yourselves to be souls and constantly remember Me alone. That’s all! Simply follow the directions that I am giving you.
