Baba says, “A Raja Rishi means one who, on the one hand, has the intoxication of a right to all attainments and, on the other hand, has spiritual intoxication of having unlimited disinterest.”
Throughout the whole cycle, a court of kings takes place many times but a court of Raj Rishis only takes place at this confluence age. “You are kings and also rishis“, explains Baba. One the one hand, I have the kingdom, that is, I have a right to all attainments and on the other hand, I am a rishi, that is, I have an attitude of unlimited disinterest. To the extent I have elevated fortune, I have elevated renunciation. There is a balance of the two. This is known as being a Raj Rishi.
Disinterest doesn’t really mean to step away but, that while having all attainments, no limited attractions attract my mind or intellect. It means that I am a sovereign over all my senses and that I also have a right over the subtle powers of the mind, intellect and sanskars. “Let there not be any dependency even in your thoughts. This is what it is to be a Raj Rishi.“, teaches Baba. The physical organs are very gross and so it is still easy to become a conqueror of my physical organs. However to become victorious over the subtle powers of the mind, intellect and sanskars requires subtle practice. To be able to make any thought or sanskar emerge at the time I want it to, is known as being victorious over the subtle powers, that is, it is the stage of being a Raj Rishi. When the soul, the king, orders the mind, that is the power of thought, to be stable and concentrated instantly, to be stable in just the one thought, then when the order of the king is obeyed in that way at that moment, that is the sign of one who has a right to the kingdom. “Let it not be that your mind obeys your order after practicing it for three or four minutes, Or instead of becoming stable and concentrated, it first goes into upheaval and then becomes stable. That would not be called as being a king.“, explains Baba.
In the same way, to have a right over the intellect means that I am able to make a decision when the situation happens, according to the situation at that moment. After the situation has passed, to think that something shouldn’t have happened is not called as having a right. Similarly, the original sanskars of a soul are to be an embodiment of all virtues, to be a deity soul who has a right to the kingdom, to be an embodiment of all attainments. “These are the natural sanskars you need to become complete and perfect. So to be a sovereign over your sanskars means the original and eternal sanskars are constantly emerged. Do not be compelled by old sanskars.“, teaches Baba. As His helper, I sign up to establish the one kingdom, one language, one religion and one direction. “So first of all“, He says, “look at your own kingdom and see if there is the one kingdom, one dharna and one direction. If even one physical organ is under a different direction of Maya’s, it would not be said to be one kingdom or one direction. Check whether you sit on the throne constantly or whether Maya sits on it sometimes.“
I will have constantly and easily a right to the kingdom when I am a Rishi, that is, when I have the practice of an attitude of unlimited disinterest. Disinterest means I have no attachment and that my love for the Father is constant. This loving attitude makes me detached. To love the Father and to be detached before I start to act is called being an unlimited renunciate. When I love the Father, I cannot be attracted to any material things or to anyone else. I make use of the facilities but while remaining immune, that is, while not being attracted to them. If there is even one physical organ or just that one sanskar that is not sufficiently under control, but all the rest are fine, then even that one weakness becomes the gate for Maya to enter. “Whether it is a small or big gate, it is a gate. If the gate is open, how would you become a conqueror of Maya and a conqueror of the world?“, asks Baba.
On the one side, I am invoking the beautiful golden world of one kingdom and one religion but as well as that, I am also invoking weaknesses, that is Maya. That would result in confusion, points out Baba. Often I deceive myself by looking at others and thinking: “There is still some time left. I’ll be able to do it later; there are still so many weaknesses in others, but there is just this one weakness in me.” “While looking at others”, Baba cautions, “make sure you yourself don’t get left behind. It is said: See Father Brahma, follow Father Brahma. Definitely be loving and co-operative with everyone, definitely become one who picks up virtues, but follow the Father“, He teaches. In his last stage, Father Brahma demonstrated the stage of unlimited disinterest in a practical way. While going through the suffering of karma, he had a right over his physical organs; while seeing the children in front of him, he was detached. In other words, he became a Raj Rishi and gave an experience of the perfect stage. This is why you are told to follow the Father, says Baba. Check your sovereignty, become a Raj Rishi.
