Know the horoscope of your Brahmin life

Baba says, “be greatly fortunate and remain constantly happy by knowing the horoscope of your Brahmin life.”

My Brahmin life is a new life and my horoscope is therefore also a new horoscope. To prepare a horoscope, the time of birth (tithi) is looked at which also includes the date, time, special omens, clan, religion, prosperity, relationships and occupation. The newborn’s fortune can be recognized from all these things. “Do you know these aspects of yourselves clearly?“, asks Baba.

In terms of date, the date of the Father’s incarnation is also the date of my incarnation. Brahmins are created at the same time as Brahma. The time of birth is the confluence age which is called ‘Brahma muhurat‘ (time of the auspicious omens of Brahma) and so my time of birth is most auspicious. Since the date and time of birth match that of the Father, my horoscope is also therefore the same as the Father’s horoscope! He is the World Benefactor and so that is also my occupation or my nature because being a world benefactor is based on my virtues; All of the Father’s virtues are also my virtues. The omens are the omens of Jupiter, the clan is the most elevated clan of Shiva- I belong directly to the clan of God! My position is that of a master almighty authority. My wealth is limitless and imperishable. My religion is that of the Brahmin topknot. My line of the intellect is broad, I have an intellect that understands the three aspects of time.

Now just think about these things.“, says Baba, “could anyone else have more lines of elevated fortune than you?” My line of action, He reveals, shows that I am a constant karma yogi, an easy yogi and a Raja yogi- the Father Himself has clearly drawn this line for me. The crown and throne, He says, are also visible in the stars of my fortune. What fortune could be more elevated than this? I should be happy, ecstatic even. Often though, I am not as pleased to see my own fortune as much as the Father is. I allow trivial things to distract me and steal my peace, and joy.

Just as worship on the path of bhakti is like a game of dolls– they create these idols, decorate them, worship them and then drown them. In the same way, Baba explains, the children of the Bestower of Fortune, play with the dolls of all the trivial situations that come up from time to time. The situations are often not significant, but they come up in life in new forms in order for me to settle my karmic accounts, or for me to give myself a test paper of dharna or to examine my own stage. The situations are totally lifeless and without any essence and yet, when they come before me, just as with the game of dolls, I create dolls of jealousy, dolls of doubt, dolls of imagination, dolls of force, dolls of bossiness; I create dolls of various situations and give them life. I then experience them to be true and even make others feel that they are true. I give life to that doll by saying: “This is the situation…” Then, I say: “Go away, go away…” as I try to make the situation go away just as bhagats say “drown, drown!” to the idols as they try to drown them. So I too create the idol of a situation, decorate the idol with so many memories of the past and assumptions for the future. Then, just as people offer bhog to the deities or their idols, I too offer bhog…of the points of knowledge in the wrong way: “This happens all the time…”, “This happens to everyone…”, “According to the drama, I am only an effort-maker at present. It is only at the end that we will become karmateet.” Not only do I take this bhog myself, but then I offer it to my service companions, friends and family members. I make them sit with me and make their intellects consume this food. Then, finally, after having suffered through upheaval, experienced loss of peace and joy, I then eventually come to my senses and then try to drown the idols in the remembrance of the Father by allowing ‘the past to be the past’, by ‘moving forward in my own self-progress’, by ‘taking a high-jump’ etc. I wasn’t an embodiment of knowledge before but now, I try to be after having wasted all that time, energy, and not to mention, all of my inheritance.

Baba says, “Don’t busy yourself with playing those games anymore. Constantly see your elevated horoscope: “I have attained everything I wanted to attain.” The way to remain full of all attainments is to use all the treasures you have received in a worthwhile way because the more you use those treasures in a worthwhile way, the more they will increase.” Then, I will no longer play with dolls; I will be so content that I will want to share what I have attained with my brothers and sisters and free them from the game of dolls too. In other words, I will remain busy in my original task of being a world benefactor, same as the Father.
