Become prosperous

Baba says, “The Father teaches you the way to become prosperous for 21 births.

Baba refers to me as ‘raj dulare’ meaning ‘royal child’ because, He explains, I am the king of both the present time as well as of the future. I have a double kingdom, not just the kingdom of the future. My prosperity of the future kingdom is based on the prosperity of the present kingdom. “Before becoming future kings, you have to claim the right to self-sovereignty at the present time. So, do you check the activity of your present self-sovereign kingdom?”, He asks.  I describe the future kingdom as – one kingdom, one religion, a kingdom of complete peace, happiness and wealth. To check my present kingdom means to check if these things constantly exist here as well.

One kingdom: means that I, the soul, constantly control the kingdom of the physical organs which carry out the functioning of the kingdom. If sometimes, I give up control of my kingdom to someone else, that is not self-sovereignty. The sign that I have given up control is to become dependent, to come under the influence of others. “So do you have one kingdom or two kingdoms?”, asks Baba. “Do you rule your kingdom or do the orders of Maya also rule every now and then?”

One religion: means dharna. The one religion or one dharna of self-sovereignty is purity. Purity in everything: in my thoughts, words, deeds, relationships and connections; this is one dharna. “Where there is purity, there cannot be any name or trace of impurity, that is, of anything wasteful or vicious. Have you become so powerful?”, asks Baba. “If you cannot rule the kingdom of this one short birth, how can you claim a right to a kingdom, how can you be prosperous for 21 births?”

Complete peace, happiness and wealth: Check, says Baba, if your happiness, peace and wealth is based on limited attainments or do you have the spiritual, supersensuous happiness of the supreme Godly kingdom? In other words, is my experience of happiness based on praise, recognition, appreciation, trophies, etc. or is it based on knowing the Father? The same for unbroken peace: do situations- big or small, people or circumstances destroy the unbroken peace? When I am a self-sovereign, I view situations as important lessons that are here to make me experienced, to teach me something that I need to get to my destination. When this is my attitude, the situation becomes a gift or a lift. This, Baba explains, is known as constant peace.

It is the same for wealth: the wealth of self-sovereignty is knowledge, virtues and powers. “Are you full of this wealth?”, He asks. The sign of being full is that there is constant contentment and there is no name or trace of any lack of attainment; there are no more limited desires or wants. “To be ignorant of the knowledge of limited desires is known as being wealthy.”, explains Baba. And to be a king means to be a bestower. So if I am someone who still has limited desires of my own, then I cannot be a king. “Such a soul becomes a beggar.”, says Baba.

Therefore, He says, “check if your self-sovereignty is that of one kingdom, one religion and full of peace and happiness.” Baba serves tirelessly by showing me the way daily – He teaches me how to think, speak, act. He teaches me about Maya – how she attacks and how to remain safe. He teaches me about the future- and how to claim the highest status. When I imbibe these invaluable jewels, I become a self-sovereign here and a world sovereign in the future.
