Baba says, “You must not lose hope or be disheartened with yourself, with others or with service. Be one with a generous heart.”

It is easy to love the Father- He is the Ocean of Love and Virtues. But do I have the same unbreakable, constant, stable love, elevated feelings and faith in the souls of the Brahmin family? I’d say that I do have love but when I see the various activities and sanskars of souls, then there is a break in my love; it is no longer unbreakable, constant or stable. But if my love for souls is truly soul conscious with the feelings of those souls being elevated souls, then there cannot be a percentage or break in my love.

Whatever their sanskars and activity are like, Baba says, Brahmin souls have an unbreakable relationship throughout the cycle. This is the Godly family. The Father has especially selected every soul and brought that soul into the Godly family. I didn’t come here by myself; the Father brought me. So by keeping the Father in front of me, I have unbreakable soul-conscious love for every soul. It’s when I take the Father out of the equation and simply look at souls’ behaviors that there is a difference in my love. And so Baba says, at that time, keep this awareness in your intellect: “The Father has selected that soul, so there must be definitely some or other specialty for which He has selected them.” If for instance, out of the 36 virtues, someone doesn’t have 35 but has only one special virtue, then that is the virtue that the Father chose them for. He didn’t see the 35 defects, He saw the one virtue.

The greatest virtue and specialty is of having an intellect that recognizes the Father, the courage to belong to Him and knowing the way to love Him, says Baba. Even the religious founders didn’t know this, the scholars and experts didn’t know this, the rulers and the wealthy didn’t know this but this soul has that specialty. That is reason enough to love them. “When you came to the Father, did you come full of virtues?“, asks Baba. “Did the Father look at your weaknesses? He increased your courage: ‘You were Mine, you are Mine and you will always belong to Me. So, follow the Father“, He says. When I look at someone and see that one as a special soul, when I form relationships and connections with such souls, by keeping the Father with me, my soul conscious love will automatically emerge from within me. Because of my love, I will be loved by everyone. I will automatically receive good wishes, co-operation and pure feelings in the form of blessings from everyone. This is known as spiritual, accurate and elevated handling of the self.

Instead if I step aside from souls, then that is wrong, says the Father. I cannot break away from the thread of eternal love of the family. So, never have the thought, He says that I can step away from a particular place, from a particular type of service or a companion and then make my stage good and show everyone. This doesn’t work, He explains. These thoughts make me step away and once I instill this habit within myself, neither will it let me be stable anywhere nor will it allow my intellect to stabilize because the intellect has the habit of constantly changing. This too would therefore be considered a weakness, not progress, explains Baba.

Have constantly pure hopes for the self, just as Baba has pure hopes in every child, He says. No matter what anyone is like, Baba never loses hope, even for those that would be in the last number. He has always has hope. “So, you too must never lose hope in yourself, in others or in service“, He says. “Don’t lose hope; be generous-hearted, not disheartened. “Generous’ means constantly having a big heart. Don’t adopt any weak sanskars. Instead, be knowledge-full and recognise the many forms of Maya and become victorious.“
