Baba says, “In order to do subtle service at a fast speed, pay special attention to being in solitude and remaining stable and concentrated.“

Not too long ago, I was in the clutches of Ravan, stumbling from one guru to the other, from one temple to the other, from one expert to the other. I was chasing after temporary, limited accomplishments because Ravan had led me believe that this would bring me lasting happiness. In the reality, all the stumbling and chasing caused me to lose all my peace and happiness and bankrupted the soul. Then, I found the Father who gave me true soul-conscious love that I was thirsting for. He became my Teacher and opened my third eye of knowledge. He enabled me to see the truth of who I am, Whose I am and the time. He also became my Guru and guides me every step of the way. Previously, I was all alone, blind, fending for myself with no guidance. Now, with the Father, Teacher and Satguru, I am never alone.

Most of my brothers and sisters are still in the clutches of Ravan, still stumbling and chasing. Having been liberated from that hell, I want nothing more than for my brothers and sisters to be liberated as well. As a master world benefactor, a helper in the Father’s task, while walking and moving around and carrying out any task, there are only these pure feelings in my mind. On the path of devotion too, I did have these pure feelings that everyone should benefit but the benefit I desired was temporary, and limited. Now, I have knowledge and so I desire permanent, unlimited happiness for every soul for not just the present birth but for birth after birth. Just as I have received the imperishable inheritance from the Father, I wish for every soul to become full of all attainments for all time.

It is these pure feelings and good wishes that transform, explains Baba. They transform not just souls but also the elements. “This is why you are remembered as world-benefactor souls.“, explains Baba. Do I realize that this is how valuable and important my pure feelings are? Do I move along while using my feelings in a worthwhile way or do I use my feelings in an ordinary way? While devotees have pure feelings too, my pure feelings are pure and powerful at the same time. This is why souls receive instant and visible fruit of my pure feelings. All the souls who come into connection or relationship with me, experience at that very moment the fruit of peace and love. And so while the pure desire is for every soul to benefit, the means to benefit every soul is my pure feelings.

“Pure desires and pure feelings are the foundation of service“, points out Baba.

One kind of service is where I simply relate whatever I’ve heard- this doesn’t really transform hearts. I might be praised for delivering a great lecture but souls don’t get served. Then, there is true service where my words are soaked in my good wishes and pure feelings. My pure feelings enable souls to have faith in the Father. The feelings become instrumental in them attaining fruit from the Father. In fact, through my unlimited good wishes and pure feelings that every soul should benefit, I can in fact reach souls located far away and bring them close to the Father. When I have pure feelings, it is guaranteed that that soul will experience receiving peace and power through some special help. “They will experience the subtle service of you master world-benefactor souls in a practical way. It will take less time, fewer facilities and less expense.”, explains Baba.

But the basis for this is that my feelings should be that pure and that powerful. They should have that much power of silence to be able to give such an alokik experience. Power of silence is the basis of pure feelings- it means that there is no noise of waste. My intellect is not busy with trivial matters of the old world. “You keep the lines of your minds and intellects very much engaged in ordinary situations and this is why this subtle service doesn’t take place at a fast speed. “, explains Baba. Yes, there is a lot of upheaval all around me but my intellect must not be engaged there. “For this, pay special attention to be in solitude (ekant) and to have concentration (ekagrata).“, teaches Baba.

If I love solitude, then no matter how busy I might be, I always take a few moments to experience solitude every now and then. Souls who love solitude become so powerful, Baba says, that at any time, they are able to use their subtle powers – their mind and intellect – to concentrate on whatever they want wherever they want. Even if the external situation is one of upheaval, souls who have love for solitude will be able to become stable and concentrated in a second by going into the depths of the One. There may be a lot of noise of waves on the surface of the ocean, also a lot of upheaval, but there isn’t that upheaval at the bottom of the ocean. Similarly, when I go into the depths of the knowledge, all upheaval will end and I will become stable and concentrated. Then, I am able to do powerful, subtle service to benefit the souls of the whole world. “Everyone continually uses the words ‘good wishes’ and ‘pure feelings’“, notes Baba. “However, by actually knowing the importance of them and putting them into practice, you will become instruments to give many souls the experience of instant and visible fruit.“
