His eyes are like the ocean- deep with waves of emotions

Sometimes they are looking into the distance; it is as though He is comforting someone in need

Sometimes they are darting ever so fast; it is as though He can feel the end of His task is near

Sometimes they are smiling; it is as though He knows what I am thinking

Sometimes they are intoxicating; it is as though He is daring me to look anywhere else

Sometimes they are captivating; it is as though He has me locked in His gaze

Sometimes they are piercing; it is as though He is claiming a right that I belong only to Him

Sometimes they are playful; it is as though He is amused by my ways

And then sometimes they have surrendered; it is as though He is reciting poetry in His mind

When they look into mine, it is as though they are filled with dreams of our life together
