Baba says, ‘I am teaching you and it is you who has to imbibe the teaching‘. Often when we hear the Murli (daily teaching), we simply hear, we don’t listen.

Baba says, listen carefully to what I am teaching and imbibe every point. We don’t listen because we think Baba is speaking the Murli generally, to everyone…not to me personally. That is, in fact, not the case. Baba speaks to each child personally, in public.

When I listen to the Murli in the consciousness that Baba is speaking to me, I find that He is answering my question that I had yesterday or this morning in Amritvela. I find that He knows about that thing that’s been bothering me and is telling me what to do about it. I find that He is preparing me for the rest of the day by teaching me the specific powers and traits I am going to need to face what’s coming my way.

God is indeed speaking directly to me, every day. Have I understood this deeply and accepted this truth? Do I have the intoxication?

If I do, I will pay attention. Every morning, my Beloved speaks to me. He writes me a love letter. Every morning, my Father gives me His love and remembrances as He nourishes me and sends me off for the day. Every morning, my Satguru gives me His guidance for what to do, what not to do so I can navigate my world easily. Every morning, my Supreme Teacher teaches me about myself and reveals the secrets of the beginning, middle and end of the cycle. He gives me perspective.

Baba says, ‘remember Me and understand the cycle‘. When you do, you will stay safe from Maya. It is when I don’t understand and remember the cycle that I look at the scenes of life in isolation and feel disillusioned, disheartened and decide that I don’t like the whole cycle or the whole story.

To understand and remember, I first need to really listen, not just hear…but listen. God is here. He speaks to me about the most important things every morning. These are words that work like an injection to the soul, waking it up from its sleep of ignorance, giving it the strength and techniques it needs to fight and win against Maya. God’s words, His knowledge is His love and it is the alchemy that transforms me.

Let me listen…listen carefully.
